Safina SW-X is built as a saltwater-focused spinning reel range with sizes extending into serious surf, rock and offshore work. Its design prioritises corrosion resistance, stable gearing and a dependable retrieve when fishing in harsher environments.

CYCLONIC FLOW ROTOR

Create “cyclonic” airflow, which significantly increases air around the rotor and allows for a much faster drying time if the reel becomes wet, minimising corrosion possibilities throughout the reel.

FLITE DRIVE™

To increase the lightness of rotation and reduce drag, Okuma incorporated a hollowed-out centre design in the pinion gear. By reducing friction between the gear and the shaft, anglers can experience a seamless, zero-inertia start-up and a remarkably light and effortless handle turn.
