Built with a flat topside that graduates into a v-shaped side and bottom, the Versa Shad Fat has an incredible body roll at any speed. The thicker top side of the tail and thinner bottom allow amazing tail action and when coupled with the graduated tail wrist and large boot tail, this lure gives life at any speed. The bigger body than the standard Versa Shad give the Fat version a presence that cannot be denied.
The lure has top and bottom hooking channels for rigging versatility. You can rig the Versa Shad Fat on a standard jighead, rig it on a weighted or unweighted worm hook or use a flash rig. The rigging options are many and varied and allow anglers to fish the Versa Shad Fat in the thick of the weed, off the points in lakes, over sand flats in the estuaries and into the thickest of snags.
